Implementing the 4-Step Process: Using Targeted Skills for Collecting SY2006-2007
Alternate Assessment Data

Purpose: The Pacific Assessment Consortium (PAC6) Project’s training is designed to provide
  each jurisdiction’s Leadership Assessment Team with the framework for a
  comprehensive State assessment system to include alternate assessments, for students with significant cognitive disabilities.
 

Outcomes: As a result of participation in this training, participants will:
 
Understand the IDEA requirements for a comprehensive assessment system,
  including alternate assessments for school-age children;
  Begin addressing the short term requirements for implementing alternate assessments for students with significant cognitive disabilities,using the
  4-Step Process for School Year 2006-2007.
