Purpose: To improve the capacity to accurately report on the performance and participation of
students with disabilities in each entity’s assessment system.
Outcomes: As a result of Assessment Institute #1, participating stakeholders will:

Have a greater understanding of the technical qualities for each component of
an inclusive assessment system.
Have participation and performance data for students with significant cognitive
disabilities who participated in the pilot implementation of the alternate assessment
in Spring 2007.
