an Inclusive Assessment System

Purpose: To increase the knowledge and skills of stakeholders from each jurisdiction for
  addressing the participation of students with disabilities in the education system
  of standards, assessments, and accountability (PAC6 Project Objective 3.1).

 

Outcomes: As a result of the 5-day Institute, participating stakeholders will:
 
Have an understanding of the technical qualities for each component of an
  inclusive assessment system;
  Be able to complete the jurisdiction specific PAC6 Self-Assessment Tool for
  developing a jurisdiction plan for enhancing an inclusive assessment system;
  Have the ability to implement specific agreed upon short-term implementation
  activities for improving the participation of students with disabilities in the
  inclusive assessment system for the 2006-2007 reporting period; and
  Have an understanding of the outcomes for the NEW GSEG PAC6 Implementation
  Projects in relation to the current PAC6 Project and each jurisdiction’s technical
  assistance and training needs for building local capacity for an
  inclusive assessment system.
