Purpose: The Pacific Assessment Consortium (PAC6) Project initial training is designed to
  provide jurisdiction Leadership Assessment Teams (LATs) with the framework
  for a comprehensive State assessment system.

 

Outcome: As a result of the initial training, LAT members will:
 

 

Ensure involvement of critical membership on jurisdiction LAT;
  Have an understanding of the framework for a comprehensive
  State assessment system;
  Have a draft self-assessment tool that aligns with the NCLB Standards
  and Assessments requirements as outlined in the Standards and Assessments Peer
  Review Guidance (PRG) and the IDEA requirements; and
  Be able to complete a self-assessment/self-study for determining their
  jurisdiction’s “status” and needs in relation to implementing an effective
  and comprehensive State assessment system, inclusive of students with disabilities.
