| Purpose: | To provide an opportunity for Pacific Directors of Special Education and staff to |
| understand the related Federal and Local requirements for alternate assessments.

| Outcome: | As a result of the two-day session, participants will have an |
| increased understanding of: | |
| Related NCLB/Accountability and IDEA requirements for a comprehensive state-wide | |
| assessment system, including alternate assessments. | |
| The GSEG Pacific Assessment Consortium (PAC6) Project goals, | |
| objectives, and timelines. | |
| The GSEG PAC6 Project technical support for each jurisdiction’s | |
| state-wide assessment system. |
